The HOOU project Lectures for Future (LFF) developed at the Hamburg University of Technology (TUHH) produces digital lecture series dealing with current global environmental challenges, such as those related to water, energy, soil and waste resource management. By collaborating with a heterogeneous scientific community, the lecture series tackle these challenges in an interdisciplinary approach. They also present the influence of the topics on the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The aim is to promote digital literacy and carry the Open Science idea forward, which opens new ways of scientific communication. For this, different interactive elements are used to enhance the learner experience such as short videos, quiz questions and links to further reading material.
Additionally, learning materials created by the LFF Team on how to create interactive lecture series can be accessed here. Lecture series are produced as Open Educational Resources (OERs) by researchers at the Hamburg University of Technology (TUHH) in collaboration with the LFF Team.
