Level 3 - Become a Simulation Researcher

Completion requirements

Alien Observer sitzt im Cockpit seines Raumschiffs und sieht sich die Simulation auf dem Bildschirm an.

What can you expect?

In this level, you will develop your first simulation experiment. Tips and instructions will help you develop and document your experimental design. This is important so that you can work carefully and transparently.

This is what you need:

Use an Excel spreadsheet or a piece of paper to write down your results.

If you are not yet familiar with the simulation interface, please first review Level 1 – Become a Simulation Navigator. There you will find the graphic with the hotspots in the section “The simulation interface explained”.

If you are still unsure about how to use the simulation interface, take a look at Level 2 - Become a Tool Master.

This is how you learn:

  • First, open the simulation by loading the external content.
  • Use the guiding questions and think about your answer. Open the drop-down box for further information.
  • Fill in the documentation tool that guides you through your experimental design. You can also download the document at the end.
  • Do your own simulation experiments.
  • Write down your results.
