Level 2 - Become a Tool Master

Completion requirements

Alien Observer sitzt im Cockpit seines Raumschiffs und sieht sich die Simulation auf dem Bildschirm an.

What can you expect?

In this section, you will become a Tool Master. You will learn how to use the simulation interface safely. You will observe what happens in the model world. Instructions with multiple-choice questions will help you: You will set up the simulation correctly and check whether your observations are correct.

You will observe how elements change, but remain in your role as a neutral observer. You will not actively intervene, but will look closely—just as is important in science.

This is what you need:

It is best to use a computer, laptop, or tablet with a large screen. This will allow you to see and understand everything clearly.

If you are not yet familiar with the simulation interface, start by viewing Level 1 – Become a Simulation Navigator. There you will find the hotspot image in the section “Simulation interface explained.” Alternatively, use the PDF file for reference

This is how you learn:

  • Go to the "Simulation" section. Load the external content to start the simulation.
  • Follow the simulation instructions step by step.
  • Observe what happens. Mark your observation. Check whether it is correct.
  • Click on “Next” (arrow at the bottom right) to move on to the next instruction.
  • At the end, you will see your total score.
