What can you expect?


In this section, you will become a Simulation Navigator. You will learn how to navigate the simulation interface with confidence. You will explore the user interface, find out what the individual buttons, sliders and switches do, and get a feel for what is meant by “model world” and “simulation.”

For a good overview in the simulation lab, you should use a computer, laptop, or tablet with a large screen.


This is how you learn:


  • Click on the question marks (hotspots) to learn about the different areas of the simulation interface.
  • Read the info texts to understand how the simulation works.
  • Test your knowledge: fill in the blanks with the correct terms and check your answers.
