Inter Graphic View
The project Inter Graphic View under the direction of Prof. Ingo Offermanns (Graphics class, HFBK Hamburg) has set itself the task of questioning graphic designers of different generations and geographical locations about their professional backgrounds: What do they design for? What rituals do they follow in their design process? Is there a recurring meta-theme in their work? What ideals do they feel committed to and can they be recognized in the graphic products?Zum Lernangebot

Inter Graphic View is a journey that has just begun.
We want to...
- collect interviews with graphic designers from around the world
- list the collection’s core notions and their derivations
- display commentary by guest authors on particular works
- offer essayistic short films about the cities where we met our dialog partners
Inter Graphic View is about transcending, expanding, and enhancing graphic design languages—visual languages as well as the applied languages in graphic design discourse.
Inter Graphic View is about developing a polyglot, translational intelligence that enables us to step outside of ourselves and engage with alternative contexts.
Inter Graphic View is about resisting identitarian isolation and its antithesis—omnipresent uniformity.
