viaMINT: Electrical Engineering - ET-Tutorials in English
What is voltage, current or resistance – and how can you systematically analyse electrical circuits? How do Kirchhoff’s laws or Thevenin equivalents help to understand complex networks? This module introduces key concepts of electrical engineering through short explanations and exam-style problems. An interactive circuit simulation allows you to visualize currents and voltages directly and helps you to better understand the analytical solutions.

What to expect
This module covers essential introductory topics in electrical engineering. This includes SI units, Ohm’s law, resistance networks, Kirchhoff’s laws, voltage and current dividers, and network analysis methods. Advanced topics such as superposition, Thévenin and Norton equivalents, AC circuits, power calculations, and filter design are also introduced.
A key feature is the integration of an interactive circuit simulator, which allows you to visualize and explore circuit behaviour connected to practice tasks in real time. Detailed solutions support your understanding.
The content is provided in English and is designed for students in electrical engineering and related fields, particularly those in early undergraduate programmes.
