Learning objectives

Research at Universities of Applied Sciences (UAS) is increasingly dependent on external, project-based funding. However, researchers and science support staff often still need help to develop and write successfully funded EU proposals. In addition to scientific excellence and a strong project idea , other skills are required to be successful in the highly competitive field of EU research funding such as the ability to understand calls for proposals, to grasp the requirements of the funding body and to precisely define the objectives, results and impact of a project. In this online course you will get an introduction into EU funding opportunities and processes.

Learning method

You can expect a well-rounded selection of relevant topics to help you get started with EU funding calls and application processes. Experts with extensive experience in supporting and developing applications share their insights with you through a series of videos.

Short interactive activities give you the opportunity to actively take notes and capture your thoughts, questions, and ideas along the way. Depending on the topic, you will also be introduced to approaches that help you reflect on and further develop your project idea for your application.

The project (Nr. 2023-1-DE01-KA220-HED-000153936) is funded by the European Union and carried out in framework of the Erasmus+ Programme Key Action 2 Cooperation Partnerships, steered and monitored by the DAAD National Agency.
