    This module provides an overview of the production processes of different types of fuels that are already available or may play a significant role in replacing petroleum-based fuels in the future. Renewable fuels can make an important contribution when it comes to being able to use existing engines and vehicles for longer, building up a fuel supply based on existing infrastructure or achieving longer ranges for heavy goods vehicles or long-haul flights.

    Information is also provided on the raw materials from which advanced fuels are obtained. This learning offer can be worked through chronologically or, depending on your interests, in sections.
