The writing workshops serve to write, criticize, correct and revise the texts. The seminar group works intensively on the material. The students bring a page of field report or the beginning of their material story as a condensed form of their research notes as well as a free format in a suitable form. Free format can inlcude photos, videos, sound recordings, graphics and diagrams.
First, a small selection is discussed together. The students read out the text excerpts they have brought with them and feedback is worked out together under the guidance of the instructor or a student moderator. It may be useful to first address the content, then the formal level and finally further thoughts. Based on the joint discussion, criteria for peer feedback are drawn up and shared centrally (screen or whiteboard). In second teams, the students then read and comment on their texts (approx. 30 min) and discuss the comments afterwards (approx. 30 min).
The students then revise their text or make notes for the revision.
